東京出身。2002年結成。バンド名は「古代神話」の意。
シンフォニックなキーボードをフューチャーし、クラシカルかつ印象的なメロディーと哀愁を感じさせる楽曲を特徴とするヘヴィ・メタル・バンド。
ゴシックな要素も併せ持ち、現在は細分化されつつあるヘヴィ・メタルのジャンル分けの中では「シンフォニック・メタル」がその音楽性を指す時に最も似つかわしい。
Michalは2007年に脱退した前任Vo、旭に変わって2008年1月に加入したヴォーカリスト。


　彼女が加入後リリースされた 1stシングル「AURORA」を発表して以降、バンドは積極的なライヴ活動を重ね、2010年10月に初のフル・アルバムとなる「Astrolabe In Your Heart」を発表！
その後、メンバーの脱退などのトラブルに見舞われるも、新メンバー2人迎え完全復活！最新作「Akashic」での進化を遂げたシンフォニック・サウンドにメタルファンの注目が集まる！
